Just finished re-reading Scaramouche. Wonderful, wonderful historical novel. Go read it, you won't regret it. SO. STINKING. GOOD. The end is so perfect and ironic and everything wraps up nicely and the writing is beautiful and Andre's journey is epic.
And the last paragraph. Good heavens.
